You will treat and apply dressing to wounds while on the way to the hospital.

The paramedic will also make notes of everything pertinent to the patient’s condition so that they can provide it to medical staff upon arrival at the hospital. A paramedic job description will require that not only should you be physically up to the job at hand, but emotionally and psychologically as well. In training to become one, you will often be exposed to real life types of scenarios in a classroom and perhaps outdoors as well, so you will probably know ahead of time if you are going to have the fortitude to be a paramedic. When a person has made it through the courses and passed the tests they are considered up to the job.
